Osteoporosis in Scotland
2004 Conference

Wednesday 13th October 2004
Hilton Dunblane Hydro

Introduction
Osteoporosis in Scotland was a one day (October 13th, 2004) multidisciplinary clinical conference to support awareness and implementation of the SIGN Osteoporosis Guideline.

This conference raised awareness of osteoporosis as a major public health problem for Scotland. Focusing on the recommendations of SIGN 71, the conference included an update on new treatments, the management of osteoporosis and current service delivery in Scotland. It also provided an ideal opportunity to meet with colleagues.

The conference held at the Hilton Dunblane Hydro was a great success with nearly 200 delegates from across Scotland in attendance.
